Gemarkungen

Gemarkungen sind zusammenhängende, aus einer größeren Zahl von Flurstücken bestehende Gebiete des Liegenschaftskatasters. Im Gegensatz zur statistischen Gliederungen in Stadtteile und Ortsämter, sind Gemarkungen historisch gewachsen. Meist decken sie sich mit ehemaligen, inzwischen eingemeindeten Gebieten und lehnen sich auch im Namen an diese an. Dresden besteht heute aus 109 Gemarkungen.
